    Yes. I use 4 layers 0.6 mm birch veneer, each layer 90° to the next one and 45° into direction of flight.

    John, this is the same way I am about to make the leading edge of my Laser Z-2300, cause plain 2.5mm birchplywood is too sturdy to bent over the nose ribs. I will use a hotwired xps foam to vacuum over. May I ask wich glue you use to bond the birch veneer layers?

    Yes, I want to be on the save side due to my dark paint scheme. Although I am a “composite” guy i like to work with Aerodux, though it was challenging in the beginning! The ailerons will be made of composites.
