    I’ve found some .025 galv but I can’t find .025 stainless here. I’ll use the galv I think and likely make a curved angle of 6061 by drilling holes and slotting a V to the hole then rivet it to the perimeter.

    PN 8000074 I also replaced the crappy small oil thermostat we had with a Thermostasis unit. Works very well. Included a couple of pic of the mounts hope it helps. Duh! Just realized your an S7 so my mounts are not relevant 🙄 oh well maybe helps someone with an S6

    I experienced the same oil temp issue with the s6 on amphibs. First I tried bigger cowl opening packers at the rear and bottom, this helped a bit and winter was fine. The real fix was putting a big cooler in now hot days are no problem 👍

    I think you may have flown a poorly set up system, I’ve flown a number that are silky smooth and lite. Our S6S is smooth and lite.

    I like the Norski epoxy wood sealer 50/50 mix and is naturally thin so penetrates well and has a lovely golden colour nasty smell but you can’t have it all good. I use West system epoxy for the structure.
