High build primer for composite aircraft

I used a polyester high build on my composite build... worked ok. a 2k urethane would be superior to polyester for sure. One thing i cant emphasis enough is to start with an pure epoxy wipe. It will save you from many headaches later on.

    Composite or aluminium fuel tank?

I made an 11 gallon header tank for my saberwing build. Used a foam core. 5 layers of 7725 fiberglass with 1/8 core on the flat surfaces. Vacuum bagged it with minimal suction. The lid was made on the tank before I removed the foam. Foam was removed using a surprisingly small amount of acetone.
