    40+ yrs ago an old guy told me they would put the plane in a spin, hold it in a spin until breaking out underneath then recovering from the spin. Obviously, this wouldn't work with a low ceiling but it could get one through a layer with no instruments and/or instrument rating.

    In low utilization engines, absence of corrosion a rarity. Every Lycoming rep will tell you to go with rollers for maximum engine longevity.

    I also think someone is way overthinking this. Just get day VFR certification and add the lights you think you need later - voila ! ! Then it's legal for night flying.

    agree. Pilot startled when he sees imminent collision hazard, reactively (and unsuccessfully) maneuvers for collision avoidance.

    Hire about 25-30 people with airplane building experience. No substitute for manpower. You could advertise for these workers using a computer which would satisfy the requirement to use existing computerized technology.
