It wasn't bad. Fredericksburg was a pleasant destination during peach season!

The fuselage shells had separated. I felt like it would be beyond my skill to fix.

    Airplane for the Common Denominator

So if they could get a US distributor this would be resolved?

    Airplane for the Common Denominator

Why wasn't the SD1 wildly successful? It seems to check many boxes.

    Airplane for the Common Denominator

I like the personal cruiser. What was the single seat with a v twin? Edit: it was the SD1

    Airplane for the Common Denominator

Mini coupe is a great example of the challenge in my opinion. Build is the same as the Teenie, just a bit bigger.

    Airplane for the Common Denominator

Can't be stored outside. Excluding #6 makes it the RV. I think that the Thorp and Mustang violate #4.

    Airplane for the Common Denominator

I think you missed my point. I was agreeing with the concensus on this thread in regards to RV's and I was suggesting that being an outlier is okay. Being content and grateful is the most important aspect in wherever you are on the bell curve.

    Airplane for the Common Denominator

I agree that the RV class checks off the most of the boxes in the right proportions. The ideal plane is the one you have. I am grateful for what I have; it isn't the fastest sexiest thing on earth but it's mine. I know that the RV's are less of a compromise when it comes to specifications but...

Hummel H5 Any of the Thatcher Aircraft Mini Coupe Teenie Two Sonerai with wing fold if you are okay with storing in a trailer Outside to me precludes anything wood or composite. The sun is brutal on all aircraft though. Cruise is probably too low for: Team V-Max HM-293 I guess my first...

    Getting old and depressed...

I wanted to move to Seguin but for some reason I can't recall we couldn't make it work. I would rather be flying out of San Antonio instead of IAH sometimes.

I have plans for the Mustang 2 which is very similar to the Thorp T18. If you wanted to meet up somewhere I could bring them so you could see what is involved in building that type of aircraft.

    Getting old and depressed...

I drove through your area last week on my way to the Colwell clinic. Being by Hooks puts you close to a couple of airparks out in Brookshire. I'm further out west but my plane is in Mineola until I can get the updates finished.

Mold Material That Can Be Laser Cut

Interesting option on the fanfold insulation. I wonder if I could snag a little piece before buying 200 sq. ft. of it.
