I think that Demitriv ? sold the plans/rights to someone in the USA. Some guy from Texas I believe.
What would you use for donor cylinders, pistons, and maybe heads for an air-cooled flathead engine?
VW/Porche jugs & pistons & home brew heads....
Take C-Fred's idea one step further & make it a 3cyl., inline, inverted, aircooled, flathead & you might come up with a very compact, lightweight...
Considering their latest round of "censorship", I wouldn't trust YouTube with anything of importance.

The "HiperLight" biplanes from Thunderbird Aviation are being fitted for the O-100.
What about the Corvair conversions?
Some of these would be just the ticket for the guys wanting to build the new "Chipper" from plans.
Does altitude cause any changes in the way that your medications perform. What about marijuana? (medical or recreational) I know that it effects...
Paint = weight.......a few gallons of primer, filler, & paint can easily add up. Saving 15 or 20 pounds of "Pretty" adds up to better performance...
Here is the technology that gets me all "twitterpated"....
It's an oil catch tank. To catch the oil build-up/drain-down that you get with inverted cylinders. Helps to prevent hydraulic lock.

The HCI radials were originally designed as flatheads. That gave you a radial engine that was only 27" in diameter.:smile:
The Mifyter was another "breakdown" biplane. Don't know what ever happened to them....
