    Engine and plane are new. Total time on both is 8.44 h, most on the ground. Carb adjustments and prop selection provides 3100 - 3200 static with EGT's 9950 - 1000. Assuming in flight RPM will go up to 6400-6500.

    Engine had been warmed up. EGT's 900-1000 before takeoff. Engine continued to run for several minutes after I throttled back to cuise rpm. Flew half way around the pattern before it quit.
