I'm surprised folks are still using alternators on air planes with the huge array of solar panels available.when you are down and the engine wont turn any more, the solar panel will keep charging your battery,,,, could come in handy eh.

Re p/n 3745, tapered prop. flange nut torque. Nowhere have I ever seen it listed,and I have worked on a65's a few times in my life.
Is a photo stating the torque to be 200# available, I have always used 90 ft lbs.

I have read where folks with an a65 Cont. with prop adapter asking " how to measure" the 90# torque. Ok here is how I do it,stand on a bathroom scale, place a 12" rod into the adapter holes...
