Many airplanes have this. My Grumman Tiger had a big plaque glued to the instrument panel "Do not operate at 1850 to 2200 rpm" due to the prop harmonics in that particular install and engine combo. Whole point in TV testing is to find those rpms, but some people think they can TLAR it... 🤦‍♂️

Swift is working on/testing a full 100 octane version of their fuel. Eventually something will shut down the one remaining refinery in the UK still making the TTL additive and that's when things get interesting for a couple of years until someone can ramp up production of the alternatives...

He's way too deep in sunk cost fallacy at this point to ever take that route. Frankly with the complete lack of resources, tools, shop space, help, and money I think we will get the "indefinite grounding after the first real incident" that I predicted way back when. It was fun while it lasted...

Anyone else notice the 1,500 fpm sink rate to maintain 104 KIA on short final ? That thing comes down like a brick in "glide mode"

Keep in mind it's also a tandem cockpit. Engines are much closer together than normal. Vmc might be at or below stall speed.

No guarantees with that airframe chute. Rear prop, never tested deployment, and never tested whether the attach points would hold.
