    Aircraft Grade Spruce "Market Survey"

I sent a PM to one member and then realized that several of those who expressed interest could benefit. I have a friend who has confirmed that he can be bribed to deliver anywhere between the Los Angeles Area and Austin, TX. The catch is that you would have to wait for his next trip that is...

The curb might have just saved him from gaining enough speed and/or altitude to do some real harm.

Is Part 103 possible with a full VW?

If one were to go the high-tech, super-genius-engineered, exotic-material-and-processes,...etc. route, then absolutely, but why would someone handicap such an aircraft with such an inelegant powerplant?

OFF-TOPIC Mathematical or Data Analysis Request OFF-TOPIC

So J.E. is a conspiracy fantasist too? Does critical thinking even exist, or was that my misguided fantasy. (I'm making an assumption that it is an analysis that involves the timing of certain events that did not go his way.)

About 150-200 feet from the perimeter fence. There's some video that shows him tangling with the power-line, and it appears that he was already pretty slow when he hit it. A very small amount of additional altitude would have gotten him over the line and over the fence.

Pou HM.16 drawings or plans for Pedal Plane

Yeah! Lil Bitts looks like a perfect starting point. I'd cartoon it up a bit while changing the proportions to make it practical. BTW my Flightstar is tucked away in your hangar a CMA.

The lack of portability ( hi hangar costs ) killed ULs imop

I think the lack of legal dual training options in planes that even remotely resemble ultralights had a much bigger role in the demise of ULs.

    Copper State Fly-In

OOPS! I was so underwhelmed by the exhibitor turnout and forum selection not having changed much since the last time I was here, that I forgot all about meeting up. Are you still planning on being here tomorrow? I had seen everything that I cared to see (twice) by noon, so I would understand...
