Hello, I am helping a buddy work on his airplane. We need to turn his King KX155 on on the workbench, however, we are having trouble finding a good clear wiring diagram of the board. Can anyone help? Thank you!

Man, I am learning so much from this thread......I can't wait till the 'max is done so I can get working on an engine, whatever route I go. It sure seems easier to write a check to Scott Cassler, but building my own would be rewarding.

While all true, the 1550 V-MAX MiniMax (which is the variant I am building) is built specifically for the 4 banger v-dub.........so since the weight is about the same, why not go 2180 vs 1835?

So lets say a guy wants to use a 2180cc VW engine in his Mini-Max, but would rather assemble it all himself rather than write a check, how would you guys build it? I assume the case would have to be sent out to get the ForceOne hub installed, other than that, what components would you use...

I think a tandem airbike http://www.jordanlakeaero.com/duo.html would be the perfect plane for said project.....you have steel, spruce, and cloth........I'm sure there are alum fittings like the minimax.......would be pretty easy really. Esp if you could have some of the steel and spruce cut to...

I think there are too many projects in the aeroplane factory as well. No focus on one particular project. I think it would be more encouraging to other builders to see two or three planes actually make SIGNIFICANT progress during the week, rather than 7 or 8 planes have no visible progress made...

I live down in Mukwonago, so I'd rather only drive the big truck up once at 10 mpg.........plus, in addition to watching planes, I could go take a nap without the wife or kids if I need to change things up.

Well.....I'm headed up right after work on Friday...will stop on the way to stock up on the groceries. The family will come join on Sunday, I think. I hope to drag the camping chair out and watch some mass arrivals on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. At this time, the weather looks to be good.

Wow.... I didn't think I would start that much of a discussion over there, however, I am glad that it was brought to light and to their attention. I am sure nothing will be done about it though.
