Spraying poly urethane on Spruce wing ribs

Some people still use varnish other than epoxy on small wood wings, but as was stated, you don't want to risk poor glue joints on the rest of the assembly. Some people mask the areas that will need glue, some sand, etc. Sounds like a lot of work to me, but each person, situation, is unique...

    Suggestions/feedback for new production engine

Designing/building a spark ignited engine to burn Jet A/diesel can, and has been, done. To do what you are suggesting is not simple, quick, or cheep, by any definition. Those injection systems, at least the ones I'm familiar with, tend to use high pressure oil systems to build the fuel pressure...

    Good numbers ?

The Cherokee sixes that used to fly out here to Gustavus would give you a 1000 lbs, for a charter. Did not include pilot or fuel, safety gear, etc. That's payload, I suspect, by definition.

    Engine options for my Lazair

A quick study of outboard HP per litre will show that the average outboard is rated for roughly half what a rotax is rated for. A 20-35 HP Evinrude from back in the day, was, I think, aroun 537 cc, give or take. A 65 HP rotax is 582cc. That's part of the equation.

    Any information on Zenoah G50?

Shouldn't be any reason to use two pumps, hundreds of thousands of two strokes out there feeding multiple carbs from one pump. Lines just teed together. Disclaimer, I know nothing of the G50 in particular.
