    It also could be equipped with 56 gal center line belly tank. I don't know why you would call it Big Heavy, draggy airplane. It was one of the fastest planes in the sky at the time. Was faster that many fighters! 134 to 160 MPH ,depending on installed equipment is great.

    Thank you for you input. that is exactly one reason i wanted to check on get this ADF instrument It was old enouph to look good in my plane. But still need it to work for AM radio tracking.

    Yes. Tank wall thickness is .050 aluminum sheet. As will be the baffles.

    yes . as close a copy as i can. One example. many of the tubes are riveted with tubercular rivets. I will be using solid rivets.
