    The boom could be rolled out of alloy by nearly any sheetmetal shop. only problem is length of rolls. you could do it in 2 sections maybe joined at a bulkhead .And there is the option of tapered boom...

    Similar rubber couplings are also used by aeromomentum.Belts and pulleys can be sourced through speed shops as they are used for blower drives and are now available with high strength belts.

    Gluing aluminium is common practise in the automotive world these days.
    Glued joints out perform spot welds in steel...

    has anyone tried foam ribs glued to alloy skin?I think the T51 Titan Mustang has alloy over foam in front of the main spar.

    These foam ribs are by rough calculation about 1/3 the weight of alloy.They weigh 24 grams each or 0.8 oz.
    Material is Gurit Corecel M at 70kg per m3. Very strong and compatible with epoxy,...

    This is how I did my pvc foam ribs. Cut out aluminium template on bandsaw and put two sharp screws in to locate foam

    Motor is Peugeot TU3 1400 cc one plug per cylinder .Motor was taken out of a running car.
    Megasquirt was purchased from someone who did not have the skills to get it running and cost about $200 USD...
