I want to build a plane with a 45mph stall but that still has good X-country capabilities (150mph cruise). Because the plane is to have removable wing panels I thought flaperons where a good idea (the mixing could be done in the fuselage so only a single connection to each wing panel). I plan to build a rectangular wing with no washout. Are their any special consideration like airfoil choice that work well with flaperons? Since I'm using flaperons it is fairly simple to raise the flaps for cruise that some laminar airfoils seem to benefit from, although I've read various opinions on that here. Some recommend the Ribblet airfoils so I'm planning on purchasing his book. Are any of the Ribblet airfoils available for download?
