Does anybody have any photographs or information showing how the fabric was attached to the rudders of the Bf 109 and Fw 190 aircraft? Was linen or cotton used and what type or pattern of stitching, including reinforcement tape, etc.?

OK Since posting the above, I've been told that the Fw 190 used a method of metal wire stitching similar to that used on the Piper
PA-18 ..... can anyone show how it was done on the Piper?
