Now that I own my own aircraft(Cessna 150), its not a big deal to fly whenever I want. I was going to buy a kit, then the deal for the 150 fell in my lap, so I chose to fly first, and build later. Well, the kit is now probably not an option because I can't afford to pay for the cessna and buy a kit. So, I started rethinking (yes I know I've been told this before) maybe buying a set of plans and building at my own pace and when the cash is available, might just work. I could probably swing a couple hundred dollars here and there and start slow after buying a set of plans. I'm still considering a CX-4 or Hummel H5 as a good project. Yeah its a one seater but so what......I really like the Sonex Onex, but that won't be available for some time and I don't thin kits going ot be a scratch builders project anyway.
