Hello all,

I am new to this forum, and thought I'd get started with the posting, because I get addicted to these things. I hope to meet all of you one day!

My wife and I have decided that after owning two Cherokees (a '74 140, and a '68 180D), we are ready to enter the world of cutting edge technology and build an airplane to our specs. We have decided on a Velocity, but I have yet to fly one. I have a trip to Florida planned to take the demo flight, and have the info pack and DVD already.

Now to the reason for the post:

I have been remodeling my garage to prepare for this project, and my simple question is-

Is building a composite airplane a really messy project? It looks messy, and I have no problem with this, but it will affect how I finish my garage.

Any advise?

:D
