I have the Atos VRX rated at 19.5 : 1 L/D , the reduction unit off
the Zenoah G-25 , and a twin-apposed 239-ccm engine with dual
electronic ignition (rated at 22hp).
All up weight on the aircraft should be near 240Lb ,with the pod
and landing gear ; and my weight with reserve is 215-Lb, for
a gross of 455-lb. My L/D should go up to near 26 : 1 when
finished ; getting rid of the drag from the pilot, and control
frame , with it's wires. I am basing that L/D , off the electric Atos
motorglider (that uses the exact same frame as what I have) ; they
clam 27 : 1 on that machine.

Will that be enough Hp to get me off the ground, in Ely Nv
at an elevation of 6,437' ASL ?

Bille
