After the JMR is finished and flying and I am satisfied with the design I want to make new carbon fiber cowl and doors, instrument panel, and boot cowl. When its finish and flying I need something to build.
Friend of mine, Brian Alley, has a business making carbon fiber products doing vacuum infusing.

I need to stop buy and pick his brain a little when I get ready to start the molds. I have made a very small parts by vacuum bagging and the biggest is a sun panel cover for my 1968 VW bug with the V-8 engine.
Also several fuel tanks and small fairing, etc. The question is, what vacuum pump do I need to buy for doing the larger, more expensive parts that I want to make that will last a long time ? I know HF sells a vacuum pump but I don't want a pump to fail when I need it the most.
