I am working on a homebuilt design that requires roughly 350-400 HP to meet the design goals. Looking online I've seen that LS1 and LS7 engines have become quite popular for auto conversions. I've heard as far as auto conversions go they can be quite pricey but still much less than the $50k the lycoming wants for a comparable engine. My major concerns are as follows:

-I know I need a dry sump for aerobatics but is this a hard mod to make?
-Would it be safe to run such an engine aerobatically between +7/-3 g's (as it obviously wasn't designed for that)
-Is a stock turbo sufficient to allow effecient operation at altitudes up to 15k ft?
-Is is possible to convert an auto engine to run of off 100LL?

Any input that people could provide would be greatly appriciated. Thanks!
