Looks like Garmin has filed some sort of patent infringement suit against Uavionix.

Not much info available, but with intellectual property law being such a mess, and since Garmin has been getting fat $elling old over priced tech for years, I would not be surprised to learn that they are just trying to put the squeeze on a competitor who is leaner, cheaper, and far more innovative.
