Two questions

1. Does anyone know if a single engine/motor driving two counter rotating props would pass, in the 254lbs. class ?

2. If electric powered, could batteries be placed in pontoons, thus removing them from the qualifing weight of a 254 or lighter ultralite ?

Some interesting things are being introduced in the brushless motor area.
Also batteries are progressing at a fast pace.

All kinds of thoughts floating around, like butterflies migrating to Mexico.:ponder:
