While reading through an experimental FB group yesterday, someone made mention of an alloy called S355. Then posted a series of charts about certain characteristics that made it better than 4130 in a number of areas.
ive never heard of this alloy before. Where is it often used? And if it’s so good, why don’t we see it used in aircraft construction?
