Like the title says. All other things being in good working order, with all tolerances meeting specs. Meaning the main bearings are good or mic correctly and all other parts falling within these specs. Why would oil pressure be low? I am speaking of the full VW engine. No other engine.

I know there are two relief valves in this engine. I also believe that one controls this oil pressure by spring pressure on the piston it rests against. Is this how the oil pressure in this engine is regulated. I am not the only one having these issues. A friend is having the same issue. Low oil pressure. When I say low, both of us are seeing oil pressure in cruise flight at around 2700rpm at around 20 psi. On my 1/2 vw she runs around 65 psi oil pressure at 2700rpm. What is up with this low oil pressure on this engine and how do I fix it?
