Does anyone here know if there is a difference between dirt bike wheels and motocross wheels? Or are they the same thing.

From the little I know about those, I would think that the motocross wheels take quite a beating, and would therefore be more suitable for homebuilt aircraft. And the sizes I have seen on the WWW are pretty much what I would need.

From my reading it appears that the wheels typically have 36 spokes, but I don't know how much that would matter. It also looks like you would have to find 2 front wheels, since the rear wheels have the chain sprocket, unless the sprocket can be removed.
