Bent metal prop, repairable? Worth anything?

Cleaning out the garage, I have an old McCauley MTM7653 metal propeller, presumably off a C-172. I don't know its history, obviously a tip strike as the last 4" or so of the tips are bend back about 90°. I had it hanging on my wall as a decoration when I was in college. Is it repairable? Or usable to cut down to a shorter length for another application? Airworthy it'd be worth something over $2000. I was thinking of using it as a mailbox post, but it'd be a shame to do that if it's repairable to airworthy condition.
