Hello all
I can't remember when the aviation bug hit , just know I wasn't at school yet. Mainly got off the ground in Hangliders while I was young and read about the noisy kind, A Lot!. Finally got a PPL in my forties and am currently about 1000 hours into a 1936 Chilton DW1 plans built. I like the older kind of aircraft especially made of wood, as I'm a carpenter by trade. Just finished the classroom part of an Aerobatics rating and about to start the physical part as I'm a low hour guy and probably should learn as much as I can to be safe.
Looking forward to gathering knowledge here.
Cheers
Alan
