Newbie here but here goes, this is actually covered in the new members but as it is a such a cool idea, i thought I should post it here.

The idea is basically a AR5 replica at poss 110% and made from glass sandwich and carbon spar or all carbon as a small fighter sport plane and a weight of only 660lbs as a FAI sub 300kg aircraft or at 720lbs as a slightly larger and more tourable version.

Power would be 582 rotax and 65hp, Jabaru 80hp, simmonini 102hp.
These are all simple and light engines and reasonably priced
