I see that Harbor Freight has some vacuum pumps on sale. They are intended for servcing air conditioners.

Is anyone out there in HBA land familiar with them? Would they work for doing vacuum bagging of composites, keeping in mind that they might have to keep running for a whole day or more while the resin cures. Or are they of too poor quality to mess with, like the HF twin cylinder engine?
