Ok have a fairly well complete idea of what I want now... Time to get into that design stage for construction...

Was contemplating the build a box, add foam, cut away all that is not finished plane method... But that is a rather slow process.

What are some newer methods of construction - compatible with compound curves - that I can eye up and start designing towards?

Being an rc guy the fold-a-plane method was tempting - but I'm pretty sure I won't be able to get the compound curves I'm looking for... (That said, I'm strongly considering adding a rotisserie to my cnc hotwire to allow cut to shape in 3d which would limit the majority of the sand to shape)

But I figure there might be some ideas out here I haven't seen... So figured I'd ask...

Thanks in advance!
