What if you can't afford stuff?

I am considering 3in square 14 gauge steel tube for a wing spar.

It weighs 3 pounds per foot.
Not ideal, but I've been on this site for half a decade and built exactly nothing.

This material can be had for less than a dollar a pound.

I am going to buy this and get started.

Anyone with the audacity to post affordable building material and teqniks, go ahead.

It's going to be pretty conventional setup.
