I searched this forum and can only find posts about 1/2 VW engines, nobody talking about what I thought was a common propulsion system for homebuilt's, the VW engine.

I've seen the conversion kit companies such as Great Plains Aircraft Supply, and they seem like pretty rock solid little powerplants. Anybody have any idea what kind of quality they are?
