OK Gents, Its finally finished! The “Active Re-Drive” for Generac, is ready for mount and production.
This Re-Drive is designed to cancel the harmonics transferred back into the crank shaft.
It features include.
A zerk fitting in the end of the main support bolt for the prop pulley bearing.
A head on both ends of the prop bolt for holding the bolt for when tightening the castle nut.
A 3/8 hole on adjuster plate to instal a torque wrench for consistant belt tensioning.
Large idler pulley bearings ( dual) for long life.
Thick backing plate for eliminating flex, with relieved cut out to save weight.
The “Active Re-drive” is just that. The idler pulley is live and responds to the back slap of the belt reducing the harmonics back into the crankshaft.
Everything is first class. From fit and finish to the bearings. Not one part cut out from a band saw. This unit is all anodized for good looks and ease of maintenance.
