I have narrowed my choice to the above. Is there a good article in Kitplanes Magazine or elsewhere that could provide advice on the differences/similarities, advantages/disadvantages of both? Things like ease of flying, safety, forgiveness, ease of building, ability to land on other than pavement, performance advantages, fuel usages with similar loads, cost of building, overall cost to fly, typically why do people chose one type over the other, which is more popular, is coolness and looks a big factor, has one design has stood the test of time better than another (number of planes built by a single builder/probably more confidence in a specific aircraft which has been built a lot). Thanks for your help. I did research on this forum and couldn't find where my questions were answered but if they have been tell me where.
