question about windmilling propellers

for my understanding...

case 1

engine running.
flying over the maximum advance ratio (dive?) means that there is a thrust reverse (thrust vector tilts back) which causes drag.

case 2
now the engine is not running.
prop causes drag and starts to turn like a windmill. which direction does the propeller turn?
