Hi everyone. I live in St Petersburg Florida and love it. I have been collecting and restoring antique cars and fire engines for over 40 years. I am new to the aviation community. I am going to earn my sport pilot and then move on to a private license. At this point in my life my time is limited with a wife and child. I am buying a 1997 Drifter SB (Strut Braced) tandem made in Australia. A local friend owns it and is just what I am looking for at this time. It has a Jabiru 2200 engine. I will need to recover the wings and tail. I look forward to asking some questions when I get into this project. Hope there are some seasoned posters here. I need all the help I can get! I may change out the engine for a rotax from rotax rick as he is a short distance away. This will be a great experience and I look forward to it.
