Does the board have any friends in Argentina? Is anyone familiar with the BA-5 Gurí? Their website appears to have not been updated in quite a while, making me wonder if the project is dead. I'd love to find updated information, perhaps flight video, of this project. Remarkably little available online.

I think the U.S., particularly the LSA training market, could really use a design like this. With some economy of scale, if some limited mass production could be achieved, why couldn't this be a sub $30K aircraft to replace all the CTLS's and other $100K designs in LSA training centers? Retail price on the HKS engine is sub 10K. Wholesale must be cheaper. My training center uses Cubs, and while venerable and perhaps ideal to learn seat of the pants flying, I'm leaning toward preferring side by side seating.

Perhaps an upward firing BRS instead of downward could be an advantage, I'm not sure, and I'm also not sure where their 33 lbs of baggage could go, assuming the space behind the seats is mostly boom tube, BRS, and support structure, but it sure would be a nice evening cruiser and LSA trainer. (Might be safe to assume baggage is only for an aircraft not equipped with BRS.)
