I decided to attempt and build my first airplane, The Minimax 1100R.
I got the plans from Team Minimax on pdf and it looked quite simple, so I took my first step and built me a work bench.
it only took about 4 hrs to build and a total of $43 dollars!!! that's not too bad, now I just got to save up for some fir so I can start on the fuselage.
my budget is pretty tight right now so I'm going to have to buy a little at a time, but I guess the up side to that is it will keep me from rushing it and ruining this project.

well that's pretty much it for now, I will update this thread with pictures once I start the build and as it progresses.
thanks everyone for helping me get started.
