I'm finishing up a JDT HiMax and am looking for my next project. I decided to build the HiMax from plans only and am looking for another project that I can do the same. However, I want an airplane that I can travel in and not just punch holes in the sky with. I'd like a plane that cruises at around 200mph that is wood/composite construction. I was looking at the KR-2s but want the opinion of this forum. You guys led me to the HiMax which was the best advice ever. I have my complex PPL but like the compact size of the HiMax and the KR-2s as well as the simplicity in the design. Any ideas?
