Hi everyone...just picked up a Firestar II that has 20lbs ballast in the nose (and the W/B sheet is caluclated for a 220 lb pilot!!!).... well, that's a different question altogether. My question is, how much clearance is needed between the T/E and the prop? I have an IVO prop with a 3" extention aft of the B box. There is 5" clearance between the T/E and the prop....what is the min distance between the prop and T/E?? I'm thinking of moving the engine forward a few inched to help get rid of some of the ballast in the nose. Any help would be greatly appreicated!! thanks, james
