Greetings to the crew on Homebuilt Airplanes.com!

Allow me to introduce myself; Troy Kirkby from Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada. I own an aviation themed Pub called The Spitfire Arms Alehouse and another restaurant in our little historic town just outside of Halifax. I found this forum while researching a home built aircraft that I purchased last Autumn. Turns out to be a 1957 Stits Skycoupe, SA-7B. Apparently it was started in 1958/9 and the gentleman who completed approximately 65% of it passed away in the early 60's having never completing his project. It sat in the rafters of the family barn until 2006 when purchased by an antiques dealer who contacted me via my website some time later.

I'd be interested in knowing if anyone has a Stits Skycoupe or has built or owned one in the past. Your experience and knowledge would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Troy

PS - It came with an original set of plans, but incomplete at best!
