Most of these turbo diesels make their max torque at 1600-1800 rpm; even if this is a little bit higher rpm, say 2400, that's 228 hp. With the light weight materials and small displacement it might be light enough for a direct drive aero engine, the advantage being the diesel fuel or jet-A.
