Lake Amphibian LA-4-200 - Some Questions

Hey, I know this may not be the right place to post this - but I am not sure where else to put it. I apologize for that.

There is a chance I may do a trade for an LA-4-200, with some damage history. I am not very experienced and am not real familiar with the LA-4-200 beyond what quick Google searches will yield. I am wondering if there are any known issues with these aircraft or anything I should be especially aware of? (Of course, before anything is a done deal, I will have it inspected by a professional)
