Tinbuzzard

I wish to announce to the homebuilder community at large that I have completed the last rib in my airplane project! The #9 rib in the left flap was installed this afternoon around 3:30 pst.

Why does this matter? I wish to offer encouragement to other builders that even the most frustrating, complex, or lunatic inspired effort can eventually lurch towards completion.

Ribs are a pain in the a** to make.

All of mine are different. (tapered everything)

The first rib (wingroot) was made in 1981.

There are 188 of them.

Its a race between completion and commitment at this point.

(for a look at the project, go back a ways in the design forum)
