I would like to draw attention to the core of the web of this spar (bottom of the pic). When reading Marskes spar manual and other references they always propose square spar web cores bonded to the caps.
Is the chamfered core in the pic the correct way to design such a spar web?
After the core tapered ends should both sparwebs touch each other for half an inch for example?
