Hello everybody,
I wanted to start a new project for a while now, it was going to be a Cobra kit car, but me and a friend got talking about building a small 2 seater plane and iv got to admit I’m quite excited about building one but I’ve no idea where to start. So I thought Id have a look on the net but I haven’t really found anything useful. So I figured id ask a few questions here.
1. What small 2-seater kit would you recommend? (Available in the UK) Performance isn’t really an issue because it’s going be my first plane I just want something that’s easy to fly and reliable.
2. Roughly how long does it take to learn to fly and roughly how much do lessons cost. Also does your licence last forever or do you have to take a test each year?
3. How strict are the local authorities and airfields about where you fly?
PS We have a local airfield about 10 min from where I live so storage isn’t going to be a problem.
