    The ribs were not as heavy as they looked. i used marine plywood sandwiched by 1 inch thick Styrofoam for the rib construction. the construction manual empty weight was indicated at 245 (111Kgs) Lbs and was able to achieve 187 Lbs (85Kgs) total aircraft weight minus the engine. am sorry but this...

    Hi all. would it be possible to build an ultralight purely on 6063-T6 Aluminum as an alternate of T6-6061 Aluminum? would the compromise in structural strength be compromised to a level of not using the 6063 grade aluminum?
