Aeromarine VTwin now in Electric Hybrid Version

So I wonder what the idea is here. Does the V Twin charge up a battery for running the 40KW BLDC motor? Or does the electricity for running the BLDC motor come directly from the V Twin itself?

    Hipec with a roller

Yes, you can still lace. However, at the time of the show, one of the big features of the system they were selling at their booth last year was that you don't have to do any rib stitching, etc. In other words, they were claiming their adhesive is strong enough to hold so you can skip the lacing...

    Hipec with a roller

Talk with Randy at Rans about the Hipec system. I was interested in using it to cover my plane after I visited their Hipec booth at Oshkosh last year. After talking with Randy though I changed my mind. The biggest caveat is relying solely on an adhesive to keep your fabric attached to your wing...

Just to be clear, the link I shared is not for the usual Simple Green product I think you're referring to, but for something made by Simple Green called "Extreme Aircraft and Precision Cleaner". It is rated as being safe for Aluminum and other metals and all the reviews I've seen so far have...

    Fabric covering choice

I have never used PPG paints myself. Maybe not the easiest to use, but judging from the quality of the paint jobs on their factory-made planes, I'm sure Kitfox has the best equipment and expertise for using that line of paints.

    Fabric covering choice

I have a Rans. They use Stewart's for their factory-made fabric-covered airplanes and a good quality automotive topcoat. Kitfox uses PPG Aeorspace topcoat on their factory-built planes. They look gorgeous from what I've seen at Oshkosh. I'm not sure but I think that's what Rans uses.
