    KRS2 Design Study

So after not having over for 5 days and internet for 10 days im back. Really bad storm here in iowa. What I have found on the toyota hybrids are these electric motor. I think if you could put two of these coolers together stacked you could divide the air and keep both coolers cool with fresh...

Homebuilt Aircraft Component Factory - A good idea?

I think what you are referring to is a coach built airplane shop. I have done the coach building cars shop thing. Its expensive. Hard. Stressful. Won't make a lot of money. You also argue with customers of the insane hourly rate you need to charge to keep your head above water. The best thing...

Looking for info on controlling airfoil shape in moldless composite wing

Are you still doing a wet layup with fiberglass on top? Or is that going to be your "mold"?

I guess I just don't like moldless construction. Just seems like going through making a plug over and over.

    Liquid cooling

Most of the planes that did a great job of low drag coolers had the inlets placed on about the thickest part of the wing. Probably getting the fastest air they can and then slowing it down to get the best benefit. They also said keeping the air from making any turns is critical for lower drag...

You guys should try out guide coat. Spray on. Start blocking. It wont clog your sand paper. Its very thin and wipes off with alcohol...

This is exactly how i have done all my restoration. Doing a door even if it looks straight...fill the entire door and block with a 4' bock using 80 grit and working it all the way down to 500 grit BEFORE primer. Then if you use wax and grease remover and spray it on your panel you can check your...

Looking for info on controlling airfoil shape in moldless composite wing

That video should be a requirement to be a member of this forum. I have been looking at the fastest planes with little hp and checking out their features. lots of things in the video confirmed my ideas and explained things in so much detail that I didn't understand. thank you

I also think for a wing there are easier ways to get the perfect airfoil without filler. Just build the mold first like an inside out wing with ribs. Get a laser cut profile of the airfoil and make sure you have it perfect. Use Coroplast or a huge sheet of lexan or plexiglass that has a shiny...

No. Polishing isn't what I'm referring to. I'm talking about straight. Light doesn't not bend or anything. Ill just make a video.
